I've got an order pending for two from Dream Pod 9 once they get back from vacation. Also, TMP member "greenknight4" has offered his services once I get the files to him.

So far, all I know about the models (an Early and a Loki) is that they should be printed in resin, for a sharper and more detailed product. I've also learned that resin takes a little more time to produce and finish once its been printed.

The 3D renderings at DP9 look great, and I'm looking forward to eventually ordering and receiving the actual models!

I hope you enjoy them! I use them in my occasional Weird War 2 games using the NUTS system. My workbench pics:

BEAUTIFUL! thumbs up

I don't know if it will work, but I've been toying with an idea of using rare earth magnets at the attachment points on the body and legs of the walkers to indicate walking and rolling modes. That way all parts of the printed model are used – nothing wasted!

Thank you very much for posting your excellent pics, SBminisguy!

I tried the earth magnet path, and found the mechs were too tippy when in walking mode.

One solution I thought of was to also put magnets into the vehicle base, and magnets in the bottoms of the feet and tracks (in travel mode) to make the mechs more stable, but I had a game coming up and didn't do it.
