Military recruiting videos are an area in which the US has spectacularly failed in the recent past.

I came across this American video today. And although, to be honest, I see a lot of influence from its Russian predecessors, it looks quite decent.
I don't know if it's shown on American television, though…

That is a new video. The past administration focused on group hugs and selling the military as group therapy instead of a fighting force.

I have never met anyone that joined over an ad. I enlisted and so did my boys and it simply was what we felt was right. My Dad and Granddad enlisted during WW2 and WW1 respectively and I don't think anyone in that era was influenced by a poster except possibly the branch.

If a 30 second commercial is what it takes to get a recruit, I'm not sure that is an all that valuable a hire.
