I know this is a miniatures forum and my main interest is 6mm (1/300, 1/285) and I am gaming this in 6mm but curious. Is anyone aware of a wargame, published, print and play or just noodling on someone's website, covering the Slovak Hungarian War at the strategic level (or as close as possible)? I have The Little War by Brian Train but at each counter being a company and a seemingly "representative" area of the war I assume (just printing it out now) it covers possible actions as opposed to actual ones and on a small scale. Please correct me if wrong. I have a couple scenarios for ASL and some downloaded scenarios for Check Your 6 as well. I am also aware of Czechoslovakia 1938 from Command Magazine 24 but, unless there is an expansion or variant that covers the S-H conflict not interested. Thank you in advance. |

This is Skirmish scale for NUTS for a what-if 1938 Czechoslovakia-German War, but does include unit lists for Hungary, and the Slovaks continued with the TOE of Czechoslovakia: link Seems that brief war would be suited for Company level and Platoon level wargaming. |

Not likely the strategic level but Osprey has a new one out on all the small wars in East Europe after WW1 and WW2. |

Thank you SB I already have that title. I also have the 2 scenarios for ASL as well. I forgot to include them. I usually play at tactical or sub-tactical but I like games at the strategic (such as this may have been) as well. Grattan-I will check that out. Thank you for the notice. |

Grattan-Do you have a link? Their search function is not taking me anywhere but A World Aflame game. |

I believe that this is what he is talking about link |

Actually, I think this might be what Grattan was talking about even although it only covers after ww1 and they are not wargame rules but general/uniform history. link |

There's also this, German Freikorps 1918-23 link |

SOM-Thank you but again a skirmish set of rules, not a strategic level game. I have it already. glengarry-Not the right period. I did find that but will pass. Thank you. |

Glengarry6, Yes, that is the one I meant. |

I thought someone made a scenario for this using the Europa series of games by GDW/GRD. Sadly a quick Google search doesn't find it. |

Ed-That might be interesting. Given the few forces available it may just work. |

I looked through the files on the Europa Facebook page. The only thing I could find was one for a defense of Austria and also for the defense of Czechoslovakia from the Germans. They were mentioned in the magazine article index. |

Magazine? Any links to issue(s) please? |

The file is an index of Europa-centric magazines in the GDW / GRD Europa wargames group on Facebook. Just in case I wasn't clear—I did NOT find the scenario or any mention of one. |
