Rock and roll band in 1/72nd scale plastic. I have been working on hotels and night clubs for James Bond and other purposes. This is part of that project. The band is not finished with painting, the figures come in this scheme and I will probably keep these colors, but tidy them up a bit.

They all have very dark hair. You need a blonde or a redhead.

I got to ask – do you have a day job? Your finds and collections are incredible.

Bunkermeister21 Jun 2025 10:15 p.m. PST

Woolshed, when I had a day job this was my only hobby and I have participated in toy soldiers since 1958.

I have been retired about 8 years now. Thank you.

Congratulations, Bunkermeister! You've gotten The Band back together! Now all we need is a "Best of" album.

Oh. And maybe some go-go girls in cages?

The lead singer figure with the microphone up front is female. There are three back up girl singers in the rear left.

robert go-go girls, of course, how did I forget those?

Apparently go-go girls are still around according to the Wikipedia article on go-go dancing. Bunkermeister should check out the go-go boot shown as it would fit right in. Just remember it needs to look like its vinyl.

Reading the Wikipedia article I remember seeing Carol Doda when I was in Army ROTC with a couple older buddies while we were on the way from Los Angeles to Fr. Lewis, WA. They wanted to stop and see her.

While I have been to Whisky A Go Go, I have driven past there a few hundred times having worked security in the Hollywood area in the 1980s.

Yes a gloss pink high boot would be perfect.

Thanks gamertom.
