I've heard the story that the Iranians smuggled out this stuff before the U.S. bombing. The Israelis controlled the sky's of Iran prior to the U.S. attack The Mossad had terminated key scientists and Iranian officers and officials, many in their beds and in safe houses. They obviously had sleepers throughout the regime. Wouldn't it be hard to believe they somehow missed that. An easy target for their planes. The Iranians claimed victory and claimed to punish the U.S. bases. Nope … I don't buy it. Just like I did not buy "total" destruction. I do buy a multi year impact to their development, unless a 3rd party helps them out. |

Gee. I wonder what happened to Sadaam Hussein's "weapons of mass destruction"? 🤔 One of the many explanations was that he was "only pretending" to have them to deter Iran from attacking him. And when none were found, the Usual Suspects, naming no names (Cheney, cough cough) suddenly came up with mysterious trucks smuggling… stuff into Syria. Or Lebanon. Or…. "Could it be that…..?" Iran has been "only months away" from being able to produce nuclear weapons for as long as I can remember. Think about it. See if you can spot any similarities. |

"Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announces the "end of the 12-day war" imposed by Israel, in a message to the nation carried by the official IRNA news agency. "Today, after the heroic resistance of our great nation, whose determination makes history, we are witnessing the establishment of a truce and the ending of this 12-day war imposed by the adventurism and provocation" of Israel, Pezeshkian says." 🙄 |

John the OFM, any actions, even the actions of religious fanatics, are rational in most cases. It's just that their logic may differ from the generally accepted and known to us. Naturally, I'm not talking about "low-level" fanatics now. They are simply expendable material. But to rise in any hierarchy, including in a terrorist or criminal organization, you need to have great managerial talents in different areas. Ayatollahs are not idiots. They are politicians. They need power and achieving goals, not "houris in heaven". You don't need to believe – you need to look at the facts and draw your own conclusions. This is, damn it, just interesting ;) Parzival, the goals of the war were not achieved by anyone. All these stories about Iran's terrible losses are just stories. Air defense was seriously damaged, a number of museum exhibits from Iranian aviation were destroyed, the leadership of the Guardians suffered, several nuclear scientists were killed. These are real results. 35thOVI, what trucks were taken out of the attacked bases on the eve of the American strike? Why weren't they attacked by Israel at the most vulnerable moment, although they were clearly discovered? In my opinion, this entire US strike on Iran is just a show, allowing all parties to save face… link Work on nuclear programs began in Iran in the 60s, with the active participation of the West. And practically since then, talk about the Iranian nuclear threat has not ceased. First, the USSR talked about it… More than half a century has passed – and nothing has changed))) Creating a tactical nuclear weapon is a fairly simple task. If Iran wanted to make a bomb, it would have done it long ago. I think so. |

How effective were the bunker busters? Well, they work quite well in test situations. They were apparently used in pairs, with one bomb opening the hole, and the next bomb expanding the hole. Penetration depends on the type of ground. Mountain/rock would be the hardest to penetrate, especially with hardened concrete. Iranian engineers possibly designed the concrete to deflect the bombs from full penetration. The explosion was probably sufficient to ruin the vibration-sensitive centrifuges. The enriched uranium is either buried or… whatever explosions do to uranium. |

"35thOVI, what trucks were taken out of the attacked bases on the eve of the American strike? Why weren't they attacked by Israel at the most vulnerable moment, although they were clearly discovered?" Caprum what was the "main" reason Israel hit the Iranians? Their prime concern? Did the Israelis NOT have phenomenal intel? So, after all that, they would allow trucks carrying nuke material, to proceed down a road "to see where it goes"? I'll go further. Let us say it was Nuke material. Once they saw where it went, they would not then hit the site? A much easier site than where it was? Unless it WAS loaded onto Chinese planes. But if that were so… those Israelis just made another "October surprise" mistake. Sort of hard to believe after their recent successes (Iran, pagers, cell phones.. ). FYI one should study the CNN reporter who released that "leak". Quite the conspiracy theory reporter. Natasha Bertrand, if one doesn't know. The secretary general of NATO seemed happy. "Congratulations and thank you for your decisive action on Iran. That was truly extraordinary, and something no one else dared to do," Rutte wrote as Trump flew toward the summit. "It makes us all safer." "You are flying into another big success in The Hague this evening," Rutte added, referencing the new agreement for NATO members to increase defense spending to 5% of GDP. Estonia is going even higher! Only Spain refuses to, to my knowledge. Again, If Iran starts again, we can hit them again. I've said before, I don't believe it was 100%. But I believe it was more significant, "than months". I know the TDSers hate to admit any successes. Like rubbing salt into open cut for them. This was a success for all involved, including the President. A far site from the previous administration. The old President couldn't have accomplished it. It was on a weekend (he would have been in Rehoboth Beach at the time) and it was after 7pm (he would have been in bed). 😉 |

Yes Bill I agree … Many, e.g. IAEA Chief, GEN Petraeus, etc. have basically said these targets have at least been significantly damaged to make them useless. If not more … The leaked report, from DIA which was breaking the law, BTW. Someone must be held responsible. Rising to a 5-10yr stay at Leavenworth. And again, with the strikes having been only 48hrs old, the initial reports may not be as accurate as later ones, obviously … But as always some in the media and worse in Congress will jump on anything negative at any level. That is SOP … My concern is the Ayatollah, et al are lying, trying to play the POTUS as they did with Obama and Biden. We can't nation build, we learned that lesson. The locals have to do that on their own. We can't/won't/shouldn't have boots on the ground. Of course, the IDF/Mossad with Free Iran elements can be de facto "proxies" on the ground. Which they are much better suited and experienced, etc. for those missions. They too are "locals"… However, we have no idea what CIA, Delta, etc. Spec Ops assets are doing. There or many other places. The nature of that work requires complete OPSEC. And we may never know. And in reality, we don't have the need to know … |

The son of the late Shah is tanned, rested and ready. He's waiting for The People to rise up and beg him to come back. Good luck with that. 🙄 Well, the United States has a long history of friendship with the Shah's family, going back to 1953. link As usual, Allen Dulles's grubby fingerprints are all over it. It's all about Oil. Interestingly enough, the late Shah was also chafing under efforts to keep Iran from developing nuclear… things. So, that's a grudge that goes way back, pre-ayatollahs. I think that whenever a choice came up for the US dealing with Iran, we invariably chose the wrong path. It's a Gift! I'm not blaming Trump. He's just following a long bipartisan tradition of failure. Each president, regardless of party, just pushed it further along. So, no TDS here. He's just following the path established by his predecessors. 👍 MAGA! |
Parzival | 25 Jun 2025 9:23 a.m. PST |
I keep reading about "vanished uranium." AFAIK, the IAEA wasn't allowed into the nuclear facilities to see the uranium at any time over the last 4 years (at least). If that's the case, how does the IAEA know where any actual uranium actually was and/or now isn't? And, given the nature of the destruction, and that the IAEA isn't able to visit the sites and are just staring at satellite photos like everybody else not in the Mossad or US Intelligence, how the heck do they know whether anything inside the facilities have "vanished" of not? It's all buried under hundreds of thousands if not millions of tons of granite (or whatever rock Iranian mountains consist of)? Biggest BS claim of the media so far. If it's "vanished" it's vanished only in the sense that it's now completely unreachable. I think those trucks seen prior to the strike were actually delivering stuff TO the underground facilities to protect it from the more conventional Israeli strikes. The Iranians, like the rest of the world, believed the President's statement that it would be two weeks later when he made a decision (he actually didn't say it would be a full two weeks), and further assumed that the US would not in the end hit the nuke sites on the principle that they'd never done it before, even from 2017-2020. Iran thought they'd intimidated the world into leaving their nuke stuff alone and just trying to do sanctions, which any future President would lift for vague promises and a photo op— after all, that's what happened with four of the last five Presidents. It probably seemed like a good bet. This time, they bet wrong. |

There's a lot to be said for traditional American isolationism. Oh, hell. I've blamed Dick Cheney and Allen Dulles here. I may as well throw in Woodrow Wilson. Teddy Roosevelt too. He wanted to do what Wilson accomplished. Bring back isolationism! The rest of the world doesn't need our help on the road to perdition. They do well enough on their own. I think it's high time the British got blamed for everything again. MBGA! MEGA? |

By the way, if anyone sees any contradictions in what I've been saying on this thread and elsewhere, just remember that I'm almost as old as the Korean Police Action, I lived through the 70s, I buy beer for the price, not the quality, and I've been sniffing a lot of E6000 the last few days. I'm every bit as consistent as J D Vance, Marjorie TG, Tucker Carlson, Little Marco, any host on CNN, and Paul Linde on Hollywood Squares. Knowing what I'm talking about and being consistent is beyond my pay grade. Let Congress with its insider trading handle that. |
Parzival | 25 Jun 2025 10:02 a.m. PST |
The OFM: @Parzival Ah. The Constitution is outdated, and has been since the Korean Police Action. It's celebrating its 75th anniversary this very week! Glad you posted The Memo! I said nothing of the sort. I cited precedence (which, by the way, goes back to Thomas Jefferson, and possibly even George Washington), and explained what "declaration of war" means. We are the ones who don't understand the word "war" because we have redefined what it means due to our technological capabilities. We have people claiming that any act of military violence is an act of war. It isn't, and was never viewed as such in the past, even in the ancient past. War involved armies— men being sent into the field to fight continuously, with an understanding that such fighting might be spread across many lands and many years. War is the full mobilization of the State, a change of State as to how it functions and what its focus is, which is distinctly different from a time of peace. (Which is why the policy of habeas corpus may be suspended in time of war— it's a new status of being for the State and the citizenry, who themselves are now as much "at war" as the State is, as officially declared by Congress.) So a Declaration of War is a big deal— it is a commitment across the entire nation to change the status of the nation. But that also means that it's not necessary for minor military actions in defense of the nation in peace time, or to respond to imminent threats*. That's not Congress's job, it's the President's. And the Framers knew that when they separated the authority to declare war from the authority to control the armed services of the United States to "Protect and Defend the Constitution of the United States." A military action in and of itself is not always a war, nor even an act of war. And that explains why Presidents have repeatedly ordered or confirmed necessary and immediate military actions without a declaration of war by Congress— the latter isn't either in question nor necessary in the circumstance at hand. *By the way, "imminent" does not mean "immediate"— it means "the near future" or "in process and/or growing" but also definable as to what the threat is. It can't be vague— "they don't like us" isn't an imminent threat. There has to be a potential, physical danger in place. In this case, there was. It doesn't matter whether Iran had an atomic bomb "right now"— it matters that they wanted one, and had the means to make one and had made explicit threats against the United States and our allies and forces, as well as a known history of carrying out such threats (which Iran definitely has done). If the FBI finds that an illegal immigrant has bought a large quantity of potassium nitrate, oil, detonators, timers, and a rental truck, it doesn't matter whether said individual has assembled this otherwise legal stuff into fuel-oil bomb, it matters that he has this stuff and likely will make the bomb because he has repeatedly made death threats. You don't wait around for him to put it all together, and you certainly don't wait for the boom. It is also the judgment call of any President as to what is or isn't an imminent threat. That's his job. We the People vote for him to do that job. This is a huge part of it. |

Yes, give Trump some credit here, he made the final decision. None of this looks like his campaign talk, but that's a good thing. Even though we have to listen to the usual endless self congratulations. Rutte knows just how to deal with this Prez. There could be unintended consequences for him to deal with, however. Where is the enriched uranium? Unless they were totally incompetent, it seems like they would have moved it. Does everyone else now think they had better go nuclear for protection? Once again Trump's natural desire to exaggerate and take credit pits him against his own intelligence people. Time will tell, but he did stand up to Iran as no one else has. |

Has the Ayatollah Khamenei been seen or heard from since the bombings? I mean actual, live, "proof-of-life" type seen/heard? I did a search of Reuters, APNews, and of general news, and found nothing other than stuff from before the strike. Nobody has claimed he's dead, but it's not like he's on anybody's "Friends & Family" plan. I would expect Israel to announce his death if they knew of it, and Trump would probably comment, too. But then, not announcing his death might be smart as well— no need to declare his "martyrdom." My guess is, he's still alive, though hiding. But the apparent current silence is very interesting to me. |

I thought I heard he was deeply bunkered and somewhat cut off from vital internet assets like Google. |
Parzival | 25 Jun 2025 2:17 p.m. PST |
There was a neighborhood in northern Tehran where he supposedly had a bunker— the Israelis nailed that site. But he might have moved. The Chinese could have gotten him out of there, but at this point they'd have little motive to do so, unless it was to make Iran a puppet state. (GLWT.) I would not be surprised to learn that he and some others moved into the nuclear bunker facility, thinking that it wouldn't be hit, and the current Iran leaders-of-the-week don't want to say anything. But again, I think this unlikely. Wonder if he'll emerge from wherever he's hiding during the present ceasefire to claim victory over the infidels. |

I still have suspicions that the Mossad got ahold of the uranium (before the strike), because what better way to slow down or stop a bomb-making program? Seeing all the crazy operations that were pulled off the past year or so, it's entirely possible (though it probably wouldn't be advertised…) |

But to many, especially the Dems and the media it seems, he has a habit of changing his mind. But … maybe not ? E.g. He says within two weeks. Then the next day !!!! 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥

Cuprum2 | 26 Jun 2025 3:16 a.m. PST |
35thOVI, I don't want to dive into conspiracy theories, but Iran's nuclear program was, in my opinion, just a pretext. The real goal of the Israeli attack (and, most likely, in agreement with the United States) was to provoke the collapse of the existing regime in Iran. Moreover, with the support of this strike from within Iran, at least by part of its elites… Possibly – the military. So where is the ayatollah?))) After all, victory has already come))) Europe seems to have retreated before Trump's efforts. But this is not the end – the positions of the globalists are still very strong. Estonia does not have its own money and lives on benefits from other countries))) It will spend exactly as much as those who are able to earn themselves will give it and allow))) I fear that the next strike on Iran may be problematic. There are rumors that in gratitude for the help, a Chinese naval base will be located in Iran. By the way, I heard that the American bombings did not leave any corresponding traces on the seismic activity instruments in this rather seismically active region… I wonder if that is true. |
Tortorella | 26 Jun 2025 5:20 a.m. PST |
The strike obviously got some results, even if it only set IRan back a few months. It put them on notice that things have changed. The weird part are the lock step effusive self congratulations from the Prez and minions that immediately appeared before the dust even settled. Obliterated…it just makes the whole thing sound like it was done for PR gratification. I know it wasn't, but all the bragging and hyperbole does not sound like us. And I don't think you get the Nobel Peace Prize by dropping a huge bomb and then declaring a cease fire. |
35thOVI | 26 Jun 2025 5:34 a.m. PST |
Caprum I am sure the Israelis would love a regime change in Iran. They wanted to kill the Ayatollah. The President stopped them. If he wanted it, he could have okayed it. Do you blame Israel for wanting change? Russia wants regime change in the Ukraine, true? The current US government, really has no interest in "making" that happen. No one knows what exactly would happen if it did. It could actually be worse, even though it is hard to believe. Hard to negotiate with a leaderless country. 😉 Do I believe Israel shares all they do with us. He#l no! Israel is ALWAYS first with Israel. As it should be with all countries. I get the impression from reading some sources in the ME media, that Iran is not happy with their allies, China being one. They are currently having a press conference on the bombing. But the "leaked" document, was only an initial assessment and it even read that much of it was speculative only. The press leaking it cannot stomach any successes from the current President. They will do anything to negate those successes. The TDS has run deeply with them since their heroine Hillary lost to him in 2016. Add to that, the majority of at least our MSM are hardcore liberals. |

From early today "President Donald Trump's historic precision strikes on Iran's nuclear sites Saturday hit their targets and "destroyed" and "badly damaged" the facilities' critical infrastructure — an assessment agreed upon by Iran's Foreign Ministry, Israel and the United States. "Our nuclear installations have been badly damaged, that's for sure," Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei told Al Jazeera." …. "Israel's Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said its assessment is that Iran's nuclear program has been "significantly damaged," while Israel's Atomic Energy Commission described the U.S. strikes as "devastating." "The devastating U.S. strike on Fordo destroyed the site's critical infrastructure and rendered the enrichment facility inoperable," Israel's Atomic Energy Commission said. "We assess that the American strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities, combined with Israeli strikes on other elements of Iran's military nuclear program, has set back Iran's ability to develop nuclear weapons by many years." It added: "The achievement can continue indefinitely if Iran does not get access to nuclear material."" … "And as for the United States, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan "Razin" Caine said that initial battle damage assessments indicate that "all three sites sustained extremely severe damage and destruction."" If you are listening to the press conference, it is actually more forceful than the above. As I said previously, i don't believe it was 100%. They rarely are. But I do and did believe it has setback their program by many years. Barring "help" from a 3rd party of course. |

Tort, Obama used the killing of Osama bin Laden all through his Presidency. 😉 Both Presidents initially gave credit to all involved: Obama's: "Today, at my direction, the United States launched a targeted operation against that compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. A small team of Americans carried out the operation with extraordinary courage and capability. No Americans were harmed. They took care to avoid civilian casualties. After a firefight, they killed Osama bin Laden and took custody of " … "A 2012 New York Times article suggests Obama highlighted the killing of bin Laden as a key achievement of his presidency. The article also notes that some critics found this "indecorous". Obama responded by saying, "Ask Osama bin Laden and the 22 out of 30 top Al Qaeda leaders who have been taken off the field whether I engage in appeasement,". Following the announcement, public opinion polls showed that most Americans approved of the handling of the operation and were relieved by the news. Obama's statements after the raid focused on the successful outcome, giving credit to the intelligence and military personnel involved, and reaffirming the country's commitment to combating terrorism. While later reporting discussed the President's use of the event in his public discourse, his initial announcement emphasized the pursuit of justice and the strength of the American people. " Both Presidents are the final decision. If successful, why should they NOT express that success? The strikes were handled well and the operation was a success. The President did force that ceasefire. He got Israel to pull back a counterattack. So he should take credit for the ceasefire. Hopefully it holds. Under his administrations he has gotten NATO to commit to 2% and now 5% spending. Good for them, but also very positive for the U.S. You may not like his style (and many do not), but these are 3 successes. |

35thOVI, I am not blaming anyone.. I don't really care about Israel or Iran. I am not involved. I am simply analyzing the situation and I am interested in how it will affect the situation in the world and the war against the Zelensky regime in particular. Russia is not fighting against Ukraine – it is fighting against plans to contain Russia and NATO's eastward expansion. Ukraine is just a proxy for a real enemy and a battlefield. This is how I see this situation as a whole, although it has many different other aspects. Iran is playing its own game. It ratified the aid agreement with Russia only when it found itself under Israeli bombs. Before that, it was bargaining and "playing" with Russia. Do you know Russia's main interest in Iran? Based on this interest, evaluate Russia's actions (and those of its opponents) in Iran: link The Ayatollah regime supported this project. Another government in Iran (pro-Western government) can close the project. Also, any instability in Iran will be a big problem, which means the Russians will support the Ayatollah (unless they find another loyal Iranian leader). Iran is unhappy with China? It doesn't really matter – he needs external support and will look for it. In China, in Russia, somewhere else… This is realpolitik…. And… I basically don't care who the president of the USA is. In any case, the US president will take care of the interests of the USA, and the Russian president will take care of the interests of Russia. If this is not the case, then these will be very bad presidents))) In my opinion, Trump is preparing for a confrontation with China, and most of his policies are preparation for this. But his business practices are annoying))) |

And I don't think you get the Nobel Peace Prize by dropping a huge bomb and then declaring a cease fire. Stopping the killing of 1000s of Jews and 1000s in Israel are duel American US citizens … Stopping islamic fanatics from getting nukes … I'd say that a pretty good list to get a Nobel. I mean Obama got one and I'm still not sure what he did ? Because he was the 1st Black POTUS? Well, 1/2 black, was that an early form of DEI/CRT? Believe me IMO there are a number of better choices to pick for a Black, Hispanic, Asian, etc. POTUS. It's not about race, sex, sexual preference, religion, etc. It is about having the right stuff to do the job. E.g. Biden was an old white man and his VP Black/Asian Indian … neither had the right stuff. It's becoming more and more clearer … they had the wrong stuff. In buckets ! I just don't what some don't understand about nukes. And the last thing most of the world wants is rabid islamic fundamentalists getting nukes and maybe give some to other islamic fanatics. This isn't like being 1/2 pregnant … it's about one of the most destructive devices of war the humans have ever made.
Which not only destroys with maximin effectiveness/lethality. The fallout/radioactive dust etc. just keeps killing for many years or more afterwards. These are not the 1st Gen A-bombs dropped in WWII on Japan. These modern nukes are many magnitudes big/better than the WWII versions. For those who get indignant over "DEI hires", she is the poster girl. I'm not buying that, she was in Iraq, is an Army NG LTC, has a lot more experience, common sense, etc. than … Hmmmmm ? Say Harris or Susan Rice, etc., etc. I'm 99.9999% sure she had nothing to do with the leak. One of 17 US Intel agencies, only one – the DIA leaked a report that was much more "conservative". And as usual certain members of the media and Dems cherry picked only what matches their agenda and narrative. Which revolves around TDS. Does look great surfing, though. 🏄♀️👙 I'm shocked ! Shocked I tell you !! That is sexist !!!! I won't stand for it !!! 🪑 And yes … OVI +1
And no surprise the Ayatollah is saying he had defeated the Jews and Americans. Of course like with Putin, this was for consumption of the denizens of those countries. I know Iran has cut the internet. "Keeping them in the dark and feeding them only 🐴💩!" … Russia does have an internet black out. Often demonstrated by "our man in Moscow". However, I don't know how much may be actually censured. "Workers of the world unite !" ⚒ The intel about the trucks removing some "yellow cake". Before the strike. We see the air assets photos of the trucks lined up in front of IIRC Fordow. However, we control the air and those trucks are most likely being tracked by a number of assets. Air/space, Mossad & the Anti-Ayatollah forces. Again it is clear many in the media and Congress are jumping on the limited BDA. Again it will take more than a few days to get a better assessment of the overall results. But as usual TDS is rampant. And as Trump or SecDef, etc. said … if need be we can do it all over again. But frankly I wish the entire islamists regime were hanging in the streets or being sent off to Gitmo. Just can't trust these islamic fanatics. |

Tulsi Gabbard is "in the line of fire". link She had to walk back remarks from weeks ago that Iran was nowhere near having bombs. Look at The Donald's first term to see how much job security his "close advisors" had. He made his bones on TV with The Apprentice, and "You're fired!" He still treats his presidency as a reality tv show. And, of course, the loyalty of "close advisors" to each other, in ANY presidency, is proverbial. Crabs in a bucket. Doubtless, some or many have it in for her. Someone leaked it, and having earlier disagreed (😱) with him, I hope she's not settled into her office yet. Can I get Vegas odds on the length of her tenure? |

She stays. No way in Hell she leaked anything. She's too damn smart for that, and too damn loyal to the military she served in and loved. She's also smart enough to know that a preliminary assessment based on limited, immediate intel is unreliable and unlikely to prove to be accurate. She didn't say Iran was "nowhere near having bombs." She said "they aren't building a nuclear bomb at this time," when testifying before a Congressional committee in public. Can you glean the difference there? It's not really subtle. Think about it, rather than "feel" about it. And recall that NO intel person will go beyond a generalization in a public hearing, Congressional committee or not. YOU DO NOT DISCUSS INTELLIGENCE WHICH MIGHT ENDANGER AN ASSET. What you do is cloak your words very very carefully, while not lying. Which is clearly what she did. This is all just media spin by sore losers who don't want to give this administration credit for anything positive. And it's made worse by overwhelming Gell-Mann Amnesia— the left-wing media sources have repeatedly lied to their audience multiple times over the last 8 years, and yet somehow still get credited as being accurate and objective. Open your eyes, people! Stop falling for the gaslighting! It's now been revealed that the trucks outside the nuclear facility were not hauling anything away, but were delivering concrete, which was being used to try to harden the facilities against bunker busters. Didn't work. Iran's nuclear ambitions just got blown to smithereens. The latest figure I heard was at least 20 years to rebuild and reconstitute what they lost. Their air defenses no longer exist. Their offensive capability is down to virtual peashooters. Their military leadership is gutted. Their nuclear scientists corp is decimated. They have no allies and no money and if they're not careful they'll have no oil production capability. Iran is DONE, at least for now. And that means Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis— the three Hs of Islamic Hell— are out of commission. Nobody's sending them guns and bombs and rockets anymore. Can we all just admit that's a good thing? My worry is not the nation of Iran, it's the idiots in our country— both the estimated close to 1,000 Iranians who entered illegally and were released into our country by the previous administration— and ultra-leftwing lunatics who buy the anti-Semitic, anti-US, anti-Trump rhetoric of the usual loudmouths and act to carry out mass killings or assassinations. Let's condemn them, how about it? Let's work together to prevent them from carrying out their fever dreams. Let's tell their leaders to stop spewing hate on the nightly news. Let's find a way to work together as Americans to build a strong, wealthy and powerful country whom good people around the world revere and evil people fear. This action was a Good Thing. We are safer because of it. |

Khamenei has released a new statement: link 🤣 |

+100 Parzival! And Khamenei's statement is so pathetic that it actually weakens them further. |

It appears that she was wrong, factually, in her testimony before Congress. Not being in line with Trump, while at the same time being wrong (was she? 🤔) is still a banana peel. It now appears that "9 out of 10 sources agree" that we probably did a lot more damage than the initial naughty estimate said. Let's be real here. She has DISAGREED with The Donald. Correctly or incorrectly is irrelevant. The act of disagreeing is enough to make Him wax wroth. (Insert Groucho retort…) Look at how browbeaten Vance, Rubio, Cruz etc are. No Heresy here, no siree Bob. Trump is ALWAYS right. But you have to pay attention, because it varies from week to week. Or even day to day. She famously demolished Kamala Harris in the Democratic debate. K dropped out. If Biden had any brains (cue applause and laughter…) he would have chosen her for VP. But, Tulsi read the writing on the wall, and slowly abandoned the Democrats. Imagine a new fork in history, if Biden had chosen her. She's not a giggling incoherent twit. I bet she could have beaten Trump in 2024. And I would have voted for her. |

Khamenei is not preaching to cynical Americans. He is preaching to Shiite 12th Imam hardliners. Laugh all you want. He doesn't give a crap what YOU think. Is Iran "winning"? Define "winning", and what it means to those he is talking to. Don't give me nonsense about cynical alleged 90% of Iranians who want him gone. Do they matter? Have they ever mattered? Will they matter? I doubt it. How much did Charlie Chaplin or the Three Stooges making fun of Hitler matter in WWII? So, make fun of Khamenei. It will at least make you feel good. 🙄 |

Parzival +101 SBm +1 OVI +1 Khamenei is not preaching to cynical Americans. Again, as I said … And no surprise the Ayatollah is saying he had defeated the Jews and Americans. Of course, like with Putin, this was for consumption of the denizens of those countries. I know Iran has cut the internet … I think we all know that … And I hope everyone also knows you can't trust islamic fanatics like Iran's fundamentalist regime. I hope I'm wrong but in 5-10 yrs. We may have to do it again. I'll probably be dead by then. Unless the IDF takes care of it before that. They really are experts with handling jihadis … they have to be … Again I think we saw when it came to reporting, many in the media and Congress have a very bad case of TDS. They only report what fits their narrative and agenda. Regardless, there was leaked intel from the DIA. As we all know too, many in some gov't agencies don't like the POTUS. But the FBI is investigating and with the new leadership, I think they will find out who that is the guilty party(s). Plus pretty sure Gabbard is not going anywhere. And it has 0 to do with DEI. |

I really don't give a carp about what the Ayatollah gives a carp about. I don't think anybody here does. He's done. Finished. Utterly irrelevant to anyone outside of Iran. He'll be dead before Iran is close to having nuclear capability again. Heck, he may be dead before the IRGC has any effective ability to wage war again. And that's assuming natural causes. The dude is older than Biden and just as delusional. And just as dishonest, too. Brothers from different mothers. I love that he's seeing his legacy collapse. LOVE IT. When evil men see their world fall apart, it is fine to laugh at them. That may be a greater justice than death. Taking the side of the Ayatollah is not an effective debating position. |

Parz, you were doing so well! Biden is the brother of the Ayatollah? More of the criminal mastermind who is concurrently unable to think straight or function syndrome from the right? 35th, I have given Trump credit but yes, I hate his patter, and I think his lifelong self-adulation makes everything he says sound like a tv infomercial. No statesman for sure. But he made a tough choice here and went with it. I don't know why Obama got the Nobel either. But Trump has not brought peace to the ME, and I doubt anyone could. Cease fires probably don't carry much weight. The Abraham Accords ignored the hard part by leaving out the Palestinian issues. Maybe Mossad should get the prize if it's about taking out your enemy. They and the US military are the top of the hero list here, from what I can tell. |
