Last night club members Ron, Paul and Wally duked it out in a shameful treasure grab somewhere near York.

Each player had a 20 point Lion Rampant force. Treasure was scattered around the table. The goal was to grab a treasure and then exit it off the table by any edge. Each treasure was worth a number of d6 which were rolled to reveal the final value taken. Paul came in first with 75 points, Ron second with 53 and Wally (who was eliminated completely) with 24 points.

Players were allowed to "peel off" a figure to carry treasure separately, or they could keep treasure with a unit. Each figure could carry one point of treasure. Peeled off figures moved separately and counted as casualties for Courage tests.

A simple table but not too bad looking. Certainly helps to have good club terrain ready to hand!

(The pictures of the dice shows the heroic stand of a unit of Paul's archers against Wally's heavy foot).
