Amazing stuff, not sure what I am more impressed by, the hand-painted shields or the tent. How long did it take you to complete this army?

Very nice!
I had never thought about it, but the different patterns of cloth for the tent not only look great but are probably more accurate than the single color I would have painted it. Also, I notice the Tuaregs are in different shades of blue, because the dyes used tended to fade with exposure to the sun.

Yes We try to paint different shades of blue… also because this is not uniform… and for uniform it could be done the same way.
