Advice from the President. link Let's hope the Iranians don't have viable nukes. Just in case, it's been nice knowing you all. |
Legion 4 | 16 Jun 2025 7:05 p.m. PST |
Been watching the news all day. The POTUS is having a meeting with the NSC, etc. very soon. As I have said in other posts here. The Mossad with support from the Free Iranian/Anti-Ayatollah Forces are working closely together. There may be a very small chance Iran has a deployable Nuke. The Ayatollah is reportedly asking for asylum in Russia. Like the overthrown Syrian president, Assad. Also asking for a meeting with the POTUS. But the POTUS said it's too late. And it is Bottom line no one wants fundamentalist islamo-fascists, like Iran to have a nuke. So before you say Sayanora … the probability of a nuke attack is very, very small. And they would target Israel first and probably only. And Oz is not even on the Ayatollah's list. So don't sweat it … As I posted on another thread here – The POTUS gave them 60 days to get off nukes program. The islamic theocracy chose poorly. All Hell needs to be unleashed. As the IDF[and US] can't afford to stop. They have lied about their quest for nukes before. If the Free Iranians can't overthrow their islamist gov't. Let the IDF continue to what they are doing. And if need be, US B-2s with MOPs take care of the underground nuke facilities. The IDF Bunker Busters are not big enough to go deep down. But they have plenty of targets for those. The Shah's Son is prepped to take over the new anti-fundamentalist islamists gov't. Yes the Shah was a bit to draconian. But pales compared to the Ayatollahs, the IRGC and their supporters. We can work with the new Free Iranian Gov't, maybe fine tune it a bit. BUT under NO circumstance try to nation build. They don't want to be US type democracy. Lessons learned … All the other "muslim" nations in that region are basically monarchies, dictatorships, or some have their own version of democracy. I think Iran may be like that ? Note Syria, Jordan, and the KSA allowed the IDF to fly over their territory to hit Iran. They are not friends with the islamic Iranian theocracy. I.e. Iran is 90%(+ or -) Shia. Where the other "muslim" nations are primarily Sunni. Save for Iraq which about 65% Shia, with 15% Sunni and a few other religions, e.g. Yazidis, if there are many left after the ISIS genocide. The IDF needs to complete their cleansing of Gaza as well. Hamas, Al Axa, islamic Jihad, etc. need to be made extinct. Under No circumstance should Gaza become a rebuilt heaven for the ghosts of Hamas, etc. The UN, etc. may have to relocate the Palestinians from Gaza. Somewhere far from Gaza. Or 5 years from now the IDF will have to go back and do this again. Hamas and the other jihadis, in Gaza, Hezbollah, were Iran's proxies. They are severely attrited and Iran is pretty much on its way out. Fix this mess now so we don't have to do this again … A harsh cold reality to stop this islamic constant jihadi/terrorism. Advice from the President. The war in Ukraine, and Gaza was because The way to stop this war is stop the threat to the world from Iran's Ayatollah, IRGC, etc. If they insist on having nukes. Well … they've been warned … repeatedly … BTW the US is the last best hope for peace in all these wars. There is no one else. And again, the POTUS has to fix . It may take at least 4 years. I'm here in the US … you are not even on the same continent. You only get what the biased media tells you … |

He has been known to throw out threats before that never then came true. I have been taken in by his bombast in the past. Now I will wait and see. |

Bluffing is part of deception … Like playing cards … Again the POTUS, Israel, many in that region, etc. can't let an islamic death cult get nukes … period … There are still moves to be played … |

You need to stop paying attention to the Man Behind the Curtain. I'm old enough and experienced to know who to pay attention to.
BTW congrats on kicking the emoji habit. I still use'm when I feel like it. |

Isn't the advice from the President the same advice the Israelis issued the day before? For example, the Israelis hit the broadcast center in Tehran. Their intelligence claims the broadcast center was being used by the Iranian military. I believe the Israelis also just struck an oil facility in Tehran. So if there are military targets within a city, wouldn't it be wise to advise the civilians to evacuate? |
Sho Boki | 17 Jun 2025 1:51 a.m. PST |
If Trump had been President, this war would never have started. Er… wait a minute… |

Choctaw | 17 Jun 2025 8:03 a.m. PST |
Sho Boki, this war has started because Iran can't be trusted with nuclear weapons because, you know, they're terrorists. Now, which administration let them continue their nuclear program unopposed? Helpful hint: the same administration that allowed millions to cross our borders unopposed. |

2015 – Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, which lifted Sanctions on Iran in exchange for limits on Iran's nuclear program and expanded IAEA verification. 2018 – U.S. President Donald Trump announced United States withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, so allowing Iran to continue their nuclear program unopposed. |

Yes, noggin, that seems to slip under the radar. The President is not always dependable in his public remarks. You cannot use very many remarks from the campaign promises to divine current policy. The border is closed. Ukraine got thrown under the bus instead of peace in a day. The right will embrace whatever he does and say it's because he is strong, condemn Biden. The middle does not trust him, the left attacks him. Hot air theater. If the Israelis can destroy the nukes and some of the crazies in charge, the politics don't matter to me. |
Tortorella | 17 Jun 2025 9:30 a.m. PST |
The President seems to be jumping in for credit. "We" now have total control over the skies…. " US intel says Iran was years away from a bomb. But I don't know who still believes or trusts the NSC and the institutions. |

2015 – Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, which lifted Sanctions on Iran in exchange for limits on Iran's nuclear program and expanded IAEA verification. A bad deal that was unenforceable, Iran used it to run the clock out until it had a nuclear weapon production capability. 1. Iran broke the JCPOA *immediately* by refusing to disclose any past weapons related research or actions. The JCPOA was built on a false declaration baseline, limiting future verification. 2. Iran broke the inspections provisions of JCPOA. While Iran technically allowed IAEA access to declared nuclear sites, it obstructed access to suspected undeclared sites, particularly military ones like Parchin. The IAEA was not allowed unfettered access to interview individuals or inspect military facilities without long, negotiated processes — often taking weeks. Iram also sanitized key facilities before inspections were allowed, breaking the agreement that allowed the IAEA to have "anytime, anywhere" inspections. 3.Iran unilaterally redefined its own programs and began R&D on advanced centrifuges under the guise of future-permitted activity, exploiting a language loophole in the deal. 4. The UN Security Council Resolution 2231 which codified the JCPOA, also declared that Iran was not to develop ballistic missiles capable of carrying nuclear weapons. Iran said that they didn't care about that provision and continued testing medium-range ballistic missiles and bragged about its missile advances throughout 2016–2018 The Obama Admin, the IAEA and the UN all DID NOTHING about these Iranian violations that made the JCPOA into a deadly joke.
2018 – U.S. President Donald Trump announced United States withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, so allowing Iran to continue their nuclear program unopposed. Trump pulled out of a bad deal that wasn't even enforced. Even with the JCPOA, Iran continued their nuclear program unopposed because the agreement was NEVER ENFORCED. |

Right now the US is sending another USN CVN Grp. Bringing it to 2 in the region. USAF refueling aircraft is forward deploy in the region. And B-52s are at Deigo Garcia. The B-2s have been sent back to CONUS. Again, the POTUS recently said unconditional surrender of these islamic terrorists … The termination of the Ayatollah and his regime one way or another. Along with the elimination of Iran's nuke program. With the fanatical islamic theocracy gone. It will go a long way to bringing some stability to the region. Most in the neighborhood don't like these Islamicists. No one wants them to have nukes. And they have a lot of US blood on their hands. Just like with Hamas in Gaza, trying to talk to these religious fanatics is a waste of time. The fear of a long war and boots on the ground, as I have been saying all along, will not happen. There is no reason to seize or hold/occupy ground/etc. Everything that has to be done can be done by the air in this case. Those that say this is not our war. Are not looking at the big picture. Iran after the revolution in '79 has been a thorn in the side of that area. And if they have nukes can threaten the US, etc. directly … Take out their ability to make nukes and most likely the Ayatollah and his fanatical islamic regime too. Just like with the IDF dealing with Hamas for decades. Take out the Islamofascists. Their support of islamic terrorism and quest for nukes will be gone. If the IDF leaves Gaza to be re-occupied by is denizens, which will include members of Hamas and other jihadis. 4-5 years from now islamic terrorism will start again. Hamas does not want to stop their jihad. They still have 50 hostages, many dead. With Iran's fanatical religious regime gone. Hamas, Hezbollah, etc. will have lost their biggest supporter. If they want to continue their war on Jews, they will be crippled, attritted, etc. Taking out Iran's fanatical islamic regime with solve at least both these problems/threats … We saw what appeasement and billions of $ did with two previous weak POTUSs. The islamists and their puppets/minions only got stronger. Causing more death … IMO and many others this threat has to be removed for peace to come closer to being a reality in that region. I can't imagine anyone with any sense of history, logic, common sense, etc. think if allowing to let these islamiofascists survive. Will not have them trying to get nukes and supporting islamic terrorism again within a few years. |
Tortorella | 17 Jun 2025 1:10 p.m. PST |
Yes SB, it was a deal, though. But I think many of us have been changing our thinking. There are no good deals to be had with these mullahs. They have conned us since Reagan and right up to the Gaza war with their proxies. This is Israel's war and their win. There is no other way to stop the terror. Trump has been careful to keep checking which way the wind blows. If this had gone bad for Israel, he would have said he knew nothing about it. But Israel, especially Mossad have crafted an historic operation. |
SBminisguy | 17 Jun 2025 1:40 p.m. PST |
Yes SB, it was a deal, though. It was worse than no deal, because it gave Iran cover for it's continued weapons program AND on the basis of that bad bad deal the Obama Admin gave BILLIONS to Iran, enabling them to propel the Houthis into power, to fund and arm Hezbollah and Hamas and create chaos across the region. There are no good deals to be had with these mullahs. Agreed! |
Legion 4 | 17 Jun 2025 5:35 p.m. PST |
There are no good deals to be had with these mullahs. No truer words were ever spoken … It is our war … they want to nuke us. So again … take out the nukes. Kill off the islamist fanatics … And clean up the💩! Get the region into the 20th Century or as close as possible. Let them work it out … No nation building … No Western style democracy. Guide them a little bit as needed or requested, They want be more like the other islamic nations that are not fanatics. A little bit Western and little bit of modernity. No Sharia Law lunatics, etc. And BTW … the GWoT must continue … a lot of muslim/moslem jihadis/terrorist fanatics/lunatics still alive in the Mid East Africa and SW Aisa, e.g. A'stan & Pakistan. Pus can ever remain of Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, AQ, ISIS, etc. ever be trusted? I'd say No. We[the West] need to react accordingly … Don't let islamist/jihadis/terrorist, etc. ever get near a WMD. The other "muslims" in the region will help too … As well as Israel/the Mossad, etc. Plus there are some in Iran they didn't like the Shah either. And yes he was a dictator. Like many other nations in the region. And some don't want the Shah's son back either. Work with them as needed. But I'm pretty sure whatever they up with they won't be funding islamic terrorism or want a nuke. |

The less nations that have nukes the better. And if I had to estimate who would be the first to use nukes. It would be some fanatical islamic nation or group. The next would-be China … They are a huge are territory and population. 20% of the world last count. You couldn't kill them all. I think that is what the CCP is betting on … |
Cuprum2 | 18 Jun 2025 4:47 p.m. PST |
China strives to become the world's leading power. It is the last one who needs a nuclear war now))) |
Legion 4 | 18 Jun 2025 6:45 p.m. PST |
I didn't say they wanted a nuclear war now. I said they are behind islamic terrorists/Iran who would be the next one to use nukes. BTW many in the CCP look at everyone else like the moslem fanatics do. Subhuman, infidels, etc. |
