I have just completed this New Model Army pike & shot regiment for the ECW.

It is the first NMA unit I've done…& the last ECW unit I will do. I have sizeable Covenanter & English Royalist armies & my friends cover the other two main factions (Parliament & Montrose). No more needed.

The pike & command stands are Tumbling Dice & SHQ 20mm metals & the musketeers are 3d resin prints. They represent Skippon's regiment & will probably serve with the Royalists in our big Show game in 3 weeks.

Very nice work. I've been reading about Essex' army lately. Several of his regiments entered the "Noodle," including Skippon's.

They look nice! I see you said resin prints. Are they your resin prints?

Thanks.

Well, I commissioned them, so yes.
They turned out a tad bigger than the TD figures but as they don't have bases, they look fairly identical.

They look great. Nice to see properly proportioned piked

Thanks, gents.
KYPD – the 'Victory without Quarter' rules we use stipulate a 6 base unit – so a base fewer pikemen. I did not like this, so I've added the extra base to all my P&S regiments. It did mean painting an extra 80 figures! The extra base, BTW, does not effect unit statistics as per the rules.

My pals have largely not gotten around to this cosmetic effect
so our Big Show game (in 2-3 weeks) will not totally show correct proportions. Oh, well.
