Scientists have detected radio waves coming from the ice— where they should not be, or be detected.
And they've also found some unexpected neutrinos (maybe?) or maybe… something else?

So let's explain it for ‘em!

Secret Nazi base?
Crashed Alien spacecraft?
The lost city of the Ancients?
Underground hollow Earth prehistoric radioactive valley?
The remains of Blackmoor?
Godzilla?
Cthulhu?

Pick your fave, or share your own!

"Radio signals" is pretty vague. Was it like Top 40 or prog rog or NPR or what? Or just dit-dit-dit dah-dah-dah dit-dit-dit?

It's an Alien spacecraft, but not one that crashed. It's their version of a newscaster on location about to report on the demise of an insignificant planet in an uninteresting star system. "Dolphins and penguins hardest hit" will be the headline.

Mis teleportation can sometime be a real bitch.

It's ancient, tiny, ice-creatures that have reached a level of evolution where their method of communication (molecular vibration) has reached the correct frequency to interact with the crystals in the ice, causing them to act like a crystal radio-set…

… the fact that their signal can now be detected is a reflection of the massive population that inhabits the ice (due to the reduction of the icecaps and the growth of population through natural means).

What, did you think the Ancients only left a stargate and a chair down there?

John the OFM had it right, it's…. AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!

I think it is space aliens, Nazis, and a hollow earth.

Live, or animated?

Shagnasty Supporting Member of TMP16 Jun 2025 10:34 a.m. PST

First animated then live, as has become the norm.
