A ‘Getting Started' with Chain of Command post has been the most popular post on my Tactical Painter blog for some time now, with 40,000+ views. It seemed timely to give it a refresh and bring it up to speed for the publication of CoC v2. Grizzled CoC veterans are unlikely to find much they haven't seen before, but hopefully it's helpful to new players who have been tempted to try the rules with v2. You can find the post here: link

As I've been playing a series of campaign games using Chain of Command v2 I've been keeping notes to help remind me what has changed from v1. I thought I might as well combine those into a blog post for others. It's not exhaustive or definitive and I'm happy to make changes along the way, but thought it worth sharing with the community. Keep in mind that it is not a review of the v2 rules. You can find it all here Changes Chain of Command v1 to v2
