The New Head project continues as my work on converting troops goes on. Step by step instructions to replace a Buzz head with a regular human head. And what to do with a Buzz head? I like to use everything we can get. Can you use a 60mm head on a 1/72nd scale figure?

"Can you use a 60mm head on a 1/72 scale figure?"

No. Though I have met people with swollen heads--and probably been one myself a few times--it's a metaphorical condition which does not actually affect hat size.

But there are other possibilities. Consider it as an artifact or an idol, but in any event an objective marker. Maybe aliens he encountered worship The Head of Lightyear? It's an oracle someone consults when they don't have a magic 8-ball? They go into battle carrying the Head of Lightyear on a pole?

Anyway, Our Heroes need to steal it. Good luck to them, and check with the Greeks who got tasked with stealing an artifact out of Troy.

I'm sure you already have plans for the Buzz body, but consider: it looks like a walker robot with a platform on top for smaller alien critters.

For the now extra Buzz head: attach legs to it, paint it metallic and call it a protocol droid. Or legs and a tray, to be used as a butler / robo-server. "Your alcoholic beverages are ready for consumption, sir."

robert & Stryderg,

The Buzz Lightyear is getting an MPC figure head, a realistic human head, to become either power armor or space suit as the need arises for my 54/60mm army. I already have five figures of one pose that I did a year ago and this gives me a second pose. Disney seems to release a new pose each year.

As for the head, I am putting 1/72nd scale legs on him and he will become a giant head with legs sort of Mr. Potato Head figure for my Junkanoo festival.

I've seen giant heads covering people in parades in the past. It is not unheard of for such things as Mardi Gras, and other festivals. You posted before about using some figures for a Bond-like Mardi Gras, I believe. If the Humans for that are 1/72, it works perfectly. Cheers!

Or just find a sitting 1/72, glue the whole thing to a chair and go full MODOK.

Thanks Sgt Slag. Junkanoo.

robert, I already have a MODOK, otherwise, good idea.
