I am working on a number of figure conversions. Check out the progress on some of them on my blog today. Eagle Games and cheapo Chinese figures in 1/72nd scale.

Reminds me of the days when I made Roman cavalry from Airfix ACW and Romans. I can see the fun in creating new figures, and a journalist to boot

These appear to be LDPE plastic? What type of glue did you use? Cheers!

Yes, korsun0, it means I am not tied only to what others choose to make but I can make anything I want.

Sgt. the white figures are styrene, regular model kit plastic.
The others are soft plastic as per Airfix or Revell figures.

The key is to pin them together when using the soft plastic. I use #8 guitar string, super strong, hair strand thickness. With a pair of pliers you can just push the wire into the figure. Sometimes I drill a small pilot hole depending on the specific plastic. Eagle Games plastic has a tendency to split so I drill a hole first.

I use Loctite super glue ultragel control in the black and blue container. It is specifically designed to be slightly flexible so it works well with figures. But without the pin the join is weak.
