"This weekend saw a return to our ongoing AWI campaign. We have reached 1777 and the battle of Bennington. Despite its fairly small size perhaps only involving 3000 troops in total it is considered something of a turning point in the War. As such there is quite a bit of information on the battle on line and some beautiful illustrations of the battle…"

The game looks like it was fun. In the second photo, there is a red flag with the troops under Stark that includes the phrase "Constitutional Party." Is aware of a historical reference for this flag? The Articles of Confederation were being debated by Congress in 1777. The Constitution was over a decade away from being drafted. New York, Vermont and New Hampshire (NH Grants claimants) all had constitutions at the time, so this may refer to one of those constitutions. According to what I have seen, the state constitutions were all adopted around the time of the battle.
