Working on lego type brick based vans from the horseless carriage. This is the process. It is not very time consuming and the parts are very inexpensive. Plastiruct Plastic Weld glues the bricks very well.
Various National Guard, militia, and home guard type units were experimenting with motor vehicle in the USA almost from the beginning of motorized transports invention.
