James (Jim) MaCarron, co-founder of Stone Mountain Miniatures, Inc., has passed away after an illness. In 1990, he left Stone Mountain Miniatures and started Musket Miniatures. We still produce many of his original designs for the 15mm ACW range, especially the artillery, which won the 1987 Origins Award for Best Historical Figure Line. RIP, Dave Stone Mountain Miniatures, Inc. |

Thank you, James, for all you gave to the hobby. As long as folks will play games with your figures, your earthly memory will survive. TVAG |
