In this entertaining scenario, the French were in retreat. They had hurriedly prepared defensive positions around a village and were trying to make their escape off table. They were hotly pursued by a brigade of Prussian infantry with attached artillery batteries. Meanwhile their escape route was to be blocked by a regiment of beautifully attired Bavarians.

Looks great, what rules?

In the future, you can crosspost your topic to the Franco-Prussian War board.

Thanks. I've cross-posted now. The rules are fast play club rules which incorporate the specific features of the FPW.

Fast Play rules – the Holy Grail in my old age. Looks like a lot of fun!
