Kublacon 2025
Who went and what did you play? Pictures, please. (I only took a few and I'll link them when I've uploaded them.)
My list:
(1) Rules: Black Ops. Game: VBSS (Visit, Board, Search, Seize). Special forces boarded a freighter to liberate it from terrorists who were holding the crew hostage. 4-foot long model ship!
(2) Rules: Delta Green. Game: Shadows over San Mateo. Federal agents from several agencies seize a new game before the SCP entity it invokes takes over Kublacon. No miniatures.
(3) Rules: Homebrew based on Operation Last Train. Game: Operation Pressure Cooker. Two-man teams fought constantly spawning bugs while looking for survivors and other objectives. Starship Troopers-type bugs.
(4) Rules: D&D 5th edition. Game: Shinobi Alliance. Set in a variant of the Naruto universe. Ninja from four clans (Earth, Wind, and Fire … no, sorry, that's a band name…) worked together to obtain a magical scroll. No miniatures. Much magic and hilarity.
(5) Rules: AvP Unleashed. Game: Bughunt of LV 126. A company-sized force of USCM and Weyland Yutani commandoes dropped into a jungle to investigate research facility with which contact had been lost and got mauled by hundreds of acid-spitting xenomorphs, including one 6-inch monstrosity. Beautiful 32mm miniatures from the Kickstarter on beautiful terrain used in Vietnam War games.
Flea Market: Not technically a game. Found a few old 25mm science fiction blister packs to use in Traveller.
Paint-&-Take: Painted two 25mm science fiction miniatures.
