link Recently I went fully obscure and put together a Battle of Mentana 1867 game from the Italian Risorgimento which I toured the UK shows with over the last year (won best Historical Game at Salute although I don't like to mention it ;) This is a showcase of the Papal French Army, 28mm figures from Perry, Gringo40s and Foundry. More info on the Utubes with a video of the figs with lots of explanation if your interested link Or if you prefer things stationary, the blog post is here link I'll do the Garibaldi next week Regards Ken The Yarkshire Gamer |

Fantastic. My Great-grandfather fought at Mentana in Garibaldi's army. |

Beautiful stuff you have right there. Beautiful painting and basing. The Risorgimento and specifically Mentana have intrigued me. I started a project in 10mm and really need to resume it. Can't wait to see the Garibaldini. |
