Maybe something to keep an eye out for – "coming to Kickstarter in the middle of 2025" - angelsonesix.com (by Phil Yates of FOW fame) Btw, I think it's expected to be used with 1/144th scale, pre-painted aircraft models….hmmm, think I've got some of those sitting around in boxes here already! OnTableTop video segment on YouTube starts at 55:15 - YouTube link Btw, they mention play-testing has been going on for quite awhile now. :)))

There's an excellent video interview with Phil about the game available here - YouTube link I find what he says about D6s wargames vs. game systems using more-sided dice (the latter allowing room to pack in more resolution modifiers) really interesting……..without adding much to the swing of a game's combat results – lots of modifiers to calculate just tends to slow down playing time as its ultimate game effect. (get the important factors in – and get the game on) Check out the custom cockpit panels that basically have the game "on-board". |

79th, and a basic game system that had been titled Angels 20 before it became Bandits High. All with pre-painted planes too, but off-the-grid now with this new design, well, the grid is instead regulated by an exacting ruler device. Couple of my old A20 pics from over on BBG (you had you know that was coming, right?). ;) :))) -

I wasn't aware of that. The planes were nice, but the game never caught on around here. |
