Some good news (for once) Work has begun on restoring the BCW Project and Wiki to its rightful place back on the old interweb. It has a slightly different domain BCW-Project.org.uk I've set up a blog that is redirected to the address to keep readers abreast of what is happening. Watch this space! |

It's back. Well the project side of things is (mostly) at bcw-project.org.uk (don't put the www bit in). It's already fallen over due to volume of traffic, so please be patient. Some bits don't work yet – you can't donate to the running of the site, or contact us yet. A few pages need a bit of a rewrite to take account of the 'new residents' and also to pay tribute to Dave who created the site. Over the coming months you may find sections come and go as they are tested. If you had a log-in to edit the Wiki I'm afraid you'll need to re-register (all due to GDPR regulations I'm afraid), but not too big a hassle. |

Regimental Wiki is mostly back, there's a few links still pointing to the old site. Link on the project front page doesn't work, a job for another day. In the meantime try Wiki.bcw-project.org.uk for a working direct route |

More functionality restored, flags are back in the Wiki entries. Registration to write Wiki entries is back, albeit a little slow to complete the process. link |

Hi all, I really want to thank Mike and his talented son Ru who have managed to resurrect the BCW sites. It's amazing to see them all back again. :-) |

Thanks so much for doing this! I've only recently begun working on ECW armies and this site is such a valuable resource. :) |

Latest update: the Wiki is pretty much finished. It's been upgraded to the latest version of the software, so now should work much better on mobile devices. There were rather a lot of broken links (1600 to be precise) – just 76 to go! Hope to finish those tonight. This doesn't include the links to re-enactment groups (a high percentage appear to have moved over to FB rather than having a dedicated website). I've messaged the different umbrella organisations, who haven't replied. Grrr! The Project side is well on its way to being upgraded/rewritten – it may well disappear for an hour or so in the next few weeks as 'new' pages are brought online. Then it's just rewriting a few bits of the 'about' content, and some house keeping |
