Agreed, that is a great gift. I like the attention to detail on the figure and equipment. Wish I still had my old ones…

Back in the day when GI Joe was a real GI. I never had one, but my best friend at the time had more than one. We used to play with them in his backyard before his family moved away. (And, like that, his name popped up in my memory with this story— Bill Bingston. A good friend to remember— Hello, Bill, wherever you are! Thank you for that, Bunkermeister.)

Classic, and yes, what a great gift.

That's awesome. They went way beyond Hasbro in making that one.

Without meaning to run it down, that is on the lower end of 12" figures these days. Some of the better ones, which of course are more expensive, are really stunning. There is even a tip top shelf variety which will blow your mind.

Yes, 79th I have many great friends and this one is exceptionally generous.

Yes, korsun0 I still have many of mine from 1964!

Parviaval, you are welcome, great memories.

Yes Sol, Hasbro sold toys to children and the other companies that came along decades later sold collectables to adults.

jgawne, yes I have a James Bond from Big Chief Studios, coast almost as much as my first car but it is an awesome figure.

Mike
