Question I have mounted aircraft on magnets and I have bases with magnets as well. My issue is when player moves a stand the planes tend to rotate, causing them to have to reface them.

My question is any suggestions on a frictional material to put between the magnets to stop rotations and not compromise the magnetic grip?

Maybe tape?

The problem might be that the two magnets are aligning with each other. What you want is one magnet and one of, say, iron or nickel.

Ditch the magnets and mount each plane solidly on its own stand.
