Looking for a fast playing set of WWII Skirmish Rules for single figures combat. Tried One Hour Skirmish and found it too light. Not overly happy with Fistful of Lead so looking for suggestions.

1:48 Tactic may suit. Players control a small number of figures – maybe 2-5. Plays in 90 minutes or so and uses a small table. 3x3 is plenty of area.

Iron Cross from Great Escape Games is also worth a look. Here's a summary of them I wrote:

I love the Two Hour System and NUTS! is their WW2 game but it is probably more detailed than you want. I have a copy on sale for $15. USD

Pulp Alley has great mechanics for activation, movement, combat, plus you can assign different skills/abilities to your individual minis/characters and there's always the Perils factor (that can be dropped from the game if you wish, altho' perilous areas and Plot Points could help establish the objectives and dangers of a scenario).

I've used the core Pulp Alley rules for historical skirmishes and small clashes and they work just fine. Might be worth a look?

I have been having a blast with Nuts! by Two Hour Wargames

It is a skirmish wargame focusing on night-time raids in World War II. Think of The Eagle Has Landed as one example. We have played this game with at most 8-10 figures on a side.

Plays in about 1-2 hours.

Nordic weasel games Five Men in Normandy or Company Commander.

Also FUBAR, it's free.

Nuts! from Two Hour Wargames.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I am going to give them all a serious look.
