Hi, all, haven't been on in a long time, but I need the help of the hive mind. I'm looking for 28mm figures of the Mexican Army. any period is fine, prefer the modern army, but I doubt anyone makes figures of them.

The first question is a long shot, but do you know any Mexican Army doctor figures from any period? Or perhaps a doctor figure from another period that would pass as Mexican Army?

How about a period civilian doctor or operating room set up?

I know doctors/medic types will be rare, especially in Mex Army uniform, so I'm looking for figures for a command stand. What companies do you know that make them?

Thanks in advance for all your help and suggestions. My girlfriend is friends with the director of the local Mexican Army hospital and when she saw my Old West figures asked if I could paint something for his desk or bookcase as he has helped her out several times getting quick appointments, etc.

As for modern Mexican army figures, between the helmets, tac vest and rifles,,, Eureka modern Germans would be a very close fit. Just figure out the pixel colours and smash brush to get it close. The G36 is near identical enough to the Xiuhcoatl rifles that H&K sued for patent infringement but lost.

As for doctor and medicl figures,,, haven't the faintest idea.

I googled "28mm army doctor" and this was one of the first hits.

Empress modern US army Ranger officer and medic. The medic is carrying a wounded comrade. Uniform and equipment work for Mexican special forces so could be an attached medic or special forces advisors.

Wow! Thanks, gents! I expected more Mex-Am War or Mexican Revolution, so I'm happy to know you guys know this stuff.

And the winner is… modifying the Ranger medic with wounded soldier. She likes it and it's exactly what she was thinking of.

Thanks again!

Sounds lie a diorama in the making.
Find a 28mm or 1/56 Hummvee ambulance, I know they exist but can't remember all the makers.
Get a half dozen of the Eureka Germans as escorts for the medic team.
Then all you have to figure out is a hospital entranceway.

I like it, troopwo. I'll have to check it out.
