One of the games run a last month's meeting of the Devon Wargames Group was a modified use of The Pikemans Lament ruleset to recreate the action at The Battle of the Spurs 1513.

Plenty of flouncy shirts, longbows, crossbows and of course big men on big horses clad in plate armour were involved and much fun had by all.

Now that is what I like in a game lots of cunning plans and decision mixed with plenty of action. None of this is a period that I partake in, but your game would definitely have been fun nice one.
