I have a certain penchant for Imagi-nations, and since I play Gnome Wars, I get a certain outlet to display them.

I've already produced the Imperial Republican Guard of California, and their bitter rivals, the Nauvoo Legion of the Theocracy of Deseret.

Now the great state of Missouri gets some love as I've begun work on the Kemper Episcopalian Medical Militia link

All blame goes to a fifteen minute segment on Joseph Nash McDowell on the Ken and Robin Talk About Stuff podcast, and the idea of a 19th century villain template with a stockpile of Revolutionary war rifles, a pet bear, and his medical school sharing the same name as the completely unrelated Kemper Military Academy, and you can see how far a stretch I made to turn this into a reality. More to come!

I've surprised myself by completing the entire unit in record time for me. (Yes, I need a flag for the bearer. Suggestions?)

They're unofficial, but I think we're making their debut in my daughter's Old West Gnome Wars game at Historicon, #149 – The Third Battle of Santa Poco. link
