it didn't seem a foolish thought until I saw this:

If Red Box fill out to a complete range – and that is their usual modus operandi – then I think I need me a Tudor Army….

In the past year I have completed the last army I will ever paint four times. So, good luck with that.

If I were to begin a new period, 1/72 plastic would definitely be the way I'd go.

They are nice.
How many figures constitutes an "army" for you?

Could you "scratch your itch" & use a relatively small number of them in a Lion Rampant game or some such?

If you are a 'wargaming megalomaniac' (sadly, like me) there's no chance you'll stop before 200-300 figures. And then there's the issue of opponents….another 300 figures. Possibly these:

At the moment I'll wait for the rest of the army to appear – I'm thinking either DBR (small army) or WRG Renaissance Rules (George Gush IIRC) which would be a hundred-ish.

And yes, an appropriate opponent army…

Nice figs but no new armies for me – I have more than enough to flesh out the ones I already have

Red Box is my favorite plastic figure supplier/maker. Their sculpts are highly detailed for injection molded plastic. Their prices, direct from the factory on e-Bay, is amazingly low, even with shipping from war-torn Ukraine! I have ordered too many times (see below, regarding "voices") from Ukraine, since the war started, and there have been no delays, no issues whatsoever, over the past three years.

Their fantasy, Alliance, lines are superb. I am sooo tempted to buy more lines, but I keep telling myself, "No, you do not need them; you have more than enough, already…"

Listening to the voices in your head is a bad thing… Right? I should order more. LOL! Cheers!

Those are some really nice sculpts for a neglected period.

We all think that, more than once, and it never happens.
