As well as the organic anti-tank guns in the battalions there were Royal Artillery anti-tank batteries in each of the airborne divisions. The guns were brought in by glider with their detachments. My question is, were the gunners involved parachute trained? Or were only certain elements so qualified? If I am painting figures on an RA detachment should they not have wings? Grateful for any advice as the photographic evidence is inconclusive.

As far as I know, they arrived by glider and the crews were not parachute trained.
