I cut the tiles into various random shapes, peel off the back and cover with flocking and other foliage for terrain areas.

I used them as a means of making larger terrain pieces using GHQ Terrain Maker Hexes. I had bought a collection of hexes with terrain carved, flocked, and/or painted on. I placed several on a single floor tile to form a larger terrain block and then cut away any tile portions which were not underneath a hex. It worked well for this, but I eventually had trouble with smaller tiles pieces not adhering for any length of time. I'd open a box after a few weeks and find all these pieces of tile that were no longer stuck to the hexes. I eventually sold off most of this stuff.

I use the faux stone ones for modular dungeon floors.
