Yes, I know. Not my usual theme song on TMP. But yesterday afternoon I realized that my supply of Ren/Fantasy 28mm civilians--AKA innocent bystanders--had outgrown its storage tray. (That's not unplanned growth--just faster than I'd planned.) Given the finances, I'd have let it go if I hadn't so often mocked other wargamers for not providing safe homes for their figures. Anyway, I picked out a 108-figure case on Amazon before dinner yesterday, and it was sitting on my doorstep when I woke up at 5:45 AM. Troops will be properly billeted ahead of lunch.

Yeah, Amazon has overnight delivery for items they have in their local warehouse. I live in SE Michigan, there is a gi-nor-mus warehouse a few miles away….VERY often the items we order arrive before we wake the next day. Matter of fact, I have some PLA filament that should be on my porch… Dave

Lol. Temu and Ali Baba are nothing like Amazon. Back in Old Timey days they had the Sears catalog, which built the nation. Imagine if they had next day ordering like we have? You could get an entire catalog house kit and a tin of licorice (impulse buy) the very next day!

Are you sure? 70% of what Amazon sells is from Chinese factories: link Different from Temu & Ali Baba? How? I was expecting prices to go up, given tariffs but with the latest cave in, that may not be as bad for those who wish to buy Chinese.
