This series was one of the first I published and as I want to rearrange all series in my "Uniformenportal" I did some work on the original photos of the 50 plates showing Landwehr and irregular troops of German countries and Austria … and published them at link

But: please be aware that Neumann painted lots of images (the Vinkhuijsen-collection is full of them) but never mentioned the source he used in the 1890s/1900s.

So, enjoy the nice plates but put them in relation to other sources.

Fantastic collection. One point of inconsistencies is its always possible the painting could be accurate for that 1 man while most of his comrads might not have everything that 1 man has.
At least that's my theory for my armies.

Wunderbar. BTw I am still looking for that possible white coated Prussian battery in 1813 ;)

@Jcfrog

I believe it was 6pdr battery Nr 10 (Item D in the second part of the file I have posted to Mediafire) – booty uniform from either Westphalian or Saxon stock, white with green collar and lapels. I have posted a copy of the articles from Zeitschrift fur Heereskunde on the Prussian Artillery 1813 & 1814 (7.34MB) downloadable from link
