Please see the attached links. We know the Frontier Miniatures made these Anglo-Indian figurines. We don't know their specific regiment or unit. They could be Indian, Sikh, or Afghan regular infantry pre-Indian Mutiny (1857). Please review and tell me what you think.

I asked Chat GPT which gave the following answer:

British Indian Army (likely Madras, Bombay, or Bengal Presidency regiments), c. 1870s–1880s.

I'm on a Chat GPT kick at the moment.

Looking at the Foundry Indian Mutiny line, I would narrow it down to the Bombay and Bengal armies. The Madras army did have headgear with a pompom in the center on top, but their headgear was more of a round topped affair than the shakos of Bengal and Bombay. You can see them here: link You might also want to look at their Sikh War line, which has Bombay and Bengal units, some of which have the pompom in the center.
The tunics are short, more 1850s or 60s than 1870s.

According to an old catalog I have, the only thing they could be is from Northwest Frontier pack F0414 Indian: Punjab & Sikh Infantry with Command.

How do you propose I do that?

Hi 79ThPA,

Sorry. Would it be possible to scan the 19th Century Colonial Section and post it on TMP in particular section? If you have paper copy, it could be scanned as a pdf. If this is too much, no worries. I don't want to be a bother. Thanks for your time and trouble. Kind Regards, GJ
