I have been painting 1/72nd box sets for prolific collector 'Old John' Cunningham for many years and the quality of the Strelets figures never fails to impress me. You can loads of them on my dedicated 1/72nd blog page below but a few photos here too.

My latest YouTube short video discusses these figures and features some Ukranian produced 1/72nd's including Cossacks and Streltsy units.

Beautiful work. 1/72 is a great scale.

Great brushwork doesn't hurt either, beautifully done.

They look great!!! thumbs up thumbs up
I have always loved the scale. Now is the Golden age for 1/72 scale. Especially if you add in 3D printing!

Thanks.

Great painting. How do you protect the plastic figures from the paint cracking?

Use clear Plasti-dip clear rubberized spray. Dries matte and protects your figs. Best product available to do this. Used it for 20+ years.

Thanks.

Thanks for all the comments guys.

Bobgnar, the figures are washed before priming with Vallejo black primer (always by brush), never had an issue with flaking paint in 15 years of painting them. Finished with a couple of coats of Vallejo satin varnish again by brush :)

Cheers

Lee.
