Is it a coincidence that it stopped just before plowing into a Law Office? I think not. |

The container went down a slope and appears to be attached to a black line of some kind. Clearly the line was inadequate to stop it, if that was its job. I can't tell if the container was on wheels; that would certainly enhance the effect. I'm guessing a big truck hit it at speed at the top of the hill. If it was on wheels, they should probably have put chocks in place. I would totally call in sick if that happened on my commute: "Hi Boss, so God sent me a sign that I'm not supposed to come in today. Yeah, I'll send you a video of it." |

The cable snapped as it was being loaded on a truck. link I worked in the building that was being demolished >>>mumble mumble<<< years ago. A few weeks ago, it "caught fire" (🙄). The store before it is a specialty Italian deli, where you can get Guanciale and special cheeses and meats. That's not a line behind it. It's the asphalt that was gouged out by the "wheels" on the dumpster, if you can call them wheels. 🤷 They only help to get it loaded. The building was famous as a battleground between Russel Bufalino and the ILGWU, led by "Min" Matheson. It's the former Ann Lee Frocks. |
