Thanks to SgtCoignet there is a nice set of 115 colour plates with text in French "The French Army and its Allies" by Jacques Domange. However, there are a number of plates missing – namely those numbered 29 & 35. Also plate 32 "Légions Polonaises d'Italie – Cavalerie" actually links back to plate 30 "Duché de Varsovie – Huitième Régiment de Cavalerie (Lanciers)" though with the "Legions…." Title! A number of the plates lack any supporting text and plate 14 is in black and white. Despite all of that, they are certainly worth adding to your collection. Plates 1 to 13 link Plates 14 to 34 link Plates 36 to 55 link Plates 56 to 75 link Plates 76 to 95 link Plates 96 to 115 link The plates cover the French and Allied Armies from Revolutionary to Empire times. |
