Here's one of those little projects – in this case 4mm (1/500th scale 3D Prints) I'm working on for a Cold War Gone Hot kit. M113s in NATO 3-color camo (really) >>>> ;)
Platoon bases are 3 inches wide, for using with a 1" = 100m game scale. |

Fab. The camo is amazing. I tried 3mm but it was too small for my old eyes. 6mm is even a stretch! |

Thank You Oberlindes Sol LIC, and Extra Crispy too! Mark, I did the camo with the new AK Interactive paint pens. A friend has played Modern Armor with A Fistful of Tows III for years, with 1/285th scale Micro Armor, and counting a single casting as a platoon. I think any platoon-unit oriented rules would work well with the 3mm units (but with castings reflecting a 1-to-1 per AFV visual cue), and especially think now looks good in this 1/450-500th scale seen here. These 3-inch wide bases, using a ratio of 1" = 100m ground scale works well also, for looks, for their tabletop frontage footprint, and ideally for finger-grasping. |
