In this 'Battle in the Mists' scenario, the Goths achieved victory by depleting the Orcs reputation points to zero, despite the fact that the Orcs still had their best units untested and undamaged at the close of the game, to the point that I suspect that if the game had continued for another turn, the Orcs would have been in the ascendency.

We have noticed that the standard Orc Warriors are a bit under powered, as they only have an armour rating of '2'. Indeed the difference between armour rating of '2' and '3' is massive when it comes to losing stamina. This makes the Orcs very brittle. As they loose units, their reputation points begin to nose-dive.

I have found the same in Midgard – I think when I start making my own army lists, I will make Orcs Armour 3 and Goblins 2.

Had to scroll down to the 25 February entry to learn what rules you are following. Remember, there are dozens of fantasy rules systems which have been published over the past 50+ years. I have only read a few, played even fewer, and they are all quite different in their mechanics. A brief mention at the start of each blog entry stating the rules in use, would be most helpful. Cheers!
