It would appear that there's a brouhaha with the new 'owner' of QRF/Freikorps. From the old QRF F/B page: "Since I stepped back and Harry has taken over I have had very little involvement. I was initially responding to email queries to help him get set up but he has removed that access from me. I no longer have access to the emails, and Harry has stopped replying to mine. I have tried all email addresses, including via the website, with no response. I gave him some initial leeway to get set up (due to some complications with him leaving the RAF) but he has not signed the production licence for the ranges I own nor made any commission payments. The recorded delivery contract was returned "addressee gone away" so I must assume he has ceased operating.
Therefore with effect 5 April 2025 Harry Dowden T/A QRF Models no longer holds a licence to produce the following ranges, which are owned by me:
QRF (all modern ranges including aircraft)
Arab Israeli Seven Years War (all nations) American Revolution (all nations) US Mexican War Maximilian War Great Paraguayan War Spanish American War Seminole War 30 Years War English Civil War History of India Samurai AirWulf 1/1200 air range Should anyone be interested in taking over these ranges, please contact me at Geoff.titchener@gmail.com
However at this time I have no information on the state or whereabouts of the masters, but any production from this point is piracy in breach of copyright."

Some nice figures – hope they continue to be available |

As the US stockist for those ranges I'm sad to report I have also been ghosted by the new owner. I'll be selling down existing stock, hoping for new ownership. Mark Severin Scale Creep Miniatures |

After no communication and an absurdly long wait I received my order from QRF a few months back and the figures turned out to be unusable rubbish. So bad that I binned the lot of them. Waste of time and money. |

It is a shame, after a slightly rocky start I had a good number of successful purchases with the new owner, but not for a few months now. As an alternative, the new owners of Skytrex are doing a great job. |

What a shame.The range deserves a better fate. |

This is really distressing. I hope the figures come back into production, somehow, anyhow. Several of these ranges constitute primary interests in my collection. |

After the change of ownership I had a couple of SYW orders completed satisfactorily, the last of these was in Jan 2024. About 3 months ago I tried to make a new order online but found the website had changed and was impossible to use. I emailed the new owner but had no response. It is a great shame that the QRF venture appears to have failed because there were some very good and useful models in the old Freikorps range, and surprisingly I found the infantry were compatible with the Moon Blue SYW range. I hope someone takes them over |

Pretty hard to expect anyone to take over a range of figures if there are no masters, molds or associated production needs. |

The loss of 15mm companies of late has been devastating: Fighting 15s (awesome minis – for various conflicts but the old Gladiator line comes to mind), Magister Militum (who knows when the old Chariot line will be available) and now, QRF. I pray for the health of Essex, Museum Miniatures, Miniature Figurines and Peter Pig! I was going to place a huge order for Schleswig/Holstein minis but after reading the above, I'll stick with Eureka! |

yes praying for the health of 15mm manufacturers is important, especially in these times when they seem vulnerable to the ill fortunes of going insolvent. perhaps this is why i have this current problem with Peter Pig link Takes your money but doesnt send the goods Martin goddard of Peter Pig is the type of small businessman who takes payment for an order, confirms the order, then doesnt send the order, then says they have issued a refund, then doesnt issue the refund and then refuses to communicate with the customer about what is happening to the point where by the customer has to issue a final demand letter but then still does not issue a refund or send the goods which have been paid for. |
