I think I have 2. When I first came on, I forgot all my login info, so the account is lost to the digital mists of time. It occurred to me that some may have alter egos. Why?
Mistakes like mine. But also:
To have strawmen for debates.
To vote multiple times.
To avoid the TMP Lawman.

Do the terms of service allow multiple accounts? I thought that was forbidden. And if someone had multiple accounts, would they have any reason to admit it? |

I may have two for similar reasons to OP from a couple of decades ago.. I think Bill was still in California then and the net was new. Haven't used it since. |

One, currently, but in 1998, I had two: my personal account for posting on everything, and my current account for posting relating to my self-published game. My self-published game is OOP, and I don't remember my personal account, nor its p/w. I dropped my personal account, using my Sgt Slag account for everything, around 2000, I think. Cheers! |

I believe the problem back in the olden times was that somebody would get themselves kicked out of TMP, then come back under a new account, and demonstrate that they had learned nothing from the experience. I don't think we've had anything like that in a while. Grelber |
