I will definitely excuse your use of Free French markings on your M4s. The Consular flag, of de Tassigny's Army B in Southern France, just looks great on dull OD US paint finish. Not sure Valserine was ever seen other than 2Eme DB, but who cares? No such thing as bad publicity for the unit and its tank.

Your brewed up Shermans and explosions are just inspired. Now that is a clever effect.

But do show the driver's and assistant's hatches open, as well, with smoke coming out. It just raises the hope that all got out, which stats show was more likely than we tend to think. The alternative does not bear thinking about.

Nicely done. Rapid Fire for rules?

Thanks guys, I use a older variant of RF

I have the rules back to the old Green book. I think a great choice to keep your rather sizable battle moving right along

Great AAR and now I am working out how to run it. Thanks for the inspiration.

Really enjoyable AAR. A solid "feel" to the action -- complex terrain and issues (like mud) to complicate the lives of the commanders (players). Reads like it was a challenge for players on both sides with real decision-making, and not just a bowling green with a bucket of dice. The gods of fortune may have added to the gamer's challenges (looks like fortune added challenges to the German player vs. the British armour), but did not decide the matter.

Just the type of game I would hope to find on a table near me.
