Nice! I really like thw whole thing: chipboard 'table', painted nicely; with gravel sand sprinkled for a roadway (very effective, looks very good); simple, effective, and decent looking rivers, woods, and hills (appears to be foam insulation, nicely painted, completely serviceable). Too bad the author does not state the scale of his figures, as they look to be maybe larger? Can't tell. The Great Apes are likely 54mm sized, and they work for a fantasy game. This is my sort of game: table and terrain made by the gamer, as there is something special about using terrain that you have crafted yourself. It also hearkens back to the gaming style I enjoy, from the 1970's to the 1990's. Thanks for sharing. Cheers! |
