Who else is looking to game Lexington and Concord in a couple of weeks – the 19th being the 250th anniversary?

I am thinking about trying it using Valour & Fortitude from Perry Miniatures.

I have a unique map image from 2014 (which unfortunately I cannot seem include) that splits the table into a "U" shape to make it fit into a smaller area (Concord and the road exit to Boston are on the same end of the table, but split apart, Lexington is at the other end). Trouble is, I can't remember where it came from, or find it again…

I actually did a game yesterday, it was from the North Bridge to Merriam's corner. It was great fun. I'm putting the same game on this coming weekend at the Lowell Veteran's center here in Massachusettes.

Yes, I plan doing this. Specifically Lexington Green skirmish, North Bridge Concord and Battle Road.

For Lexington Green and Battle Road I am planning on using my 40mm AWI's and thinking about using One Hour Skirmish Wargames or Song of Drums and Tomahawks for that. For North Bridge 28mm and going to use Muskets and Tomahawks or Rebels and Patriot's for a little larger scale. Already have my gaming buddy talk into it.

I highly recommend Thingsfromthebasement for Saltbox houses, Hartwell Tavern, Captain William Smith house, and a 28mm scale Old North Bridge. Being "in scale", the bridge takes up a lot of space in the table. Sarissa makes a smaller one.
For the saltbox houses, buy the New England houses, plus the extensions.

We'll be doing the British retreat from Concord (Meriam's Corner) using the Commands and Colors system -- link on Saturday, April 19.

We'll be using our 25mm AMR troops on a 4" hex gridded map. Should be an interesting exercise for the British. We'll play it twice, switching sides to give everyone a chance of either saving the British column or wiping it out.

A few months ago I made a simple paper model of Old North Bridge for my collection of plastic "toy soldiers" (nominally 32 mm?). So I might pull it out for a spin with Redcoats & Minutemen, my simple house rules. (Which are about as accurate as a musket at 200 yards, but I don't care.)

I was at Lexington Green for the 200th. The opening round would make for a bit of a lopsided game.

i have passed the idea on to our resident AWI fan. It will be great if he can come up with a viable game by our meeting on the 20th.

We have been planning for weeks to fight this on Saturday. My local gaming group is going to use Muskets and Tomahawks rules to fight the British retreat. we are hping for eight to ten players with just about everyone contributing something.
