Tgerritsen had an excellent idea and post here, so I am blatantly stealing it but crediting him.
On Saturday at Little Wars I will be running two pirate games during the day.
Each game is essentially the same event.
Game #1 is at 10:30 am, Event #20:
PIRATE RAID!
Pirates are raiding the village of Port Dominion! Can the British Troops and the League of Gentlemanly Gentlemen hold them off? Will the pirates get the treasure, and the governor, his beautiful daughter, or the Spanish Contessa? This game is a parents/kids game with one side playing the British, and the other playing the dastardly pirates! Prizes awarded for best play and extra points awarded for those in costume and singing pirate songs! Simple rules taught on site! Yo Ho Ho!
This mornings game is focused towards parents and kids, if dad/mom and son/daughter want to go at it, they have priority for family fun. However it is set for all ages.
Game #2: is at 3:30 and is Event #21:

A few things for everyone.
1: Yes, as it says, "IF you show up in pirate attire to play AND sing a pirate song, you will start off with some "extra".
2: Each player will receive a "booty bag", (a bag of treasure items.) Each string of pearls in the bag was actually beaded and created by my wonderful wife, (Gawd bless her!), as her way of "helping" in the game. I am very pleased, proud, and honored by her doing this.
For those of you that have seen me at Little Wars in the past, yes on Thurs, Fri, and Sunday I will have my trademark gray CS forage cap on my noggin. Saturday, you won't be able to miss me, trust me….
Look forward to seeing everyone!
