A West Colberg regiment. Painted by my friend David Lloyd. A variety of manufacturers – Old Glory, Perry, Calpe and Prussian. Sorry for the somewhat crappy pic. link

No, it is the 1st Battalion, 2nd West Prussian Infantry Regiment, Nr. 7. The unit facings (crimson collar and cuffs and scarlet shoulder straps) and the type and colors of the flag (lemon field and center with white cross) only fit that battalion. [Source: David Nash's The Prussian Army: 1808-1815, which although dated is still very accurate.] The Colberg Regiment, Nr. 9, had white collar and cuffs and a completely different flag pattern. The painting is very well done and one would be proud to have that unit in his army. Jim |

Yeah to be honest I am not completely sure of the exact unit. I will post pics of the other two battalions I got in the near future. |
