Hey everyone,

I just published a new post on Grouchy's 2nd Dragoon Division in 1806-1807. I hope to follow up with a few more posts discussing the division's performance from October 1807 to February 1807. I had to dig through many memoirs and other documents, as I only had the Sept 24, 1806 situational report available, slightly different from what Grouchy had with him in late October.

Thanks for taking a look!

A work in progress of the Etat-Major of the 2nd Dragoon Division. This covers his Aides-de-camp and officiers de la suite. The next one will be the staff officers.

Red Jacket,

I appreciate it! Hopefully, I can bring to life the stories of these men who fought and try my best to depict them based on what the current research and paintings of the period show.

Thoroughly enjoyed the read, and fascinated to find that Lafayette's son was one of his ADC's!

Thanks Gonsalvo!

If I remember correctly, he retired after that 1807 campaign and did not receive the Legion d'honneur. He seemed to be a promising officer as well.
