They look fine with the 12 and 20mm I think; 28mm look a little too big.

Fruit trees are generally in the 15-20 foot range when mature.

As wargamers we almost always mix, match and bend scales. If your troops are 1" / 25mm a fruit tree should be about 2.5 – 3.25" tall. And fruit trees are small. But our model trees need to be practical. Many deciduous trees reach 50' in height or more. But we rarely use model trees over 4 or 5 inches tall.

Those orchards are lovely and would make any table look better!
