Infantry Regiment No.59 Jordis

This unit, in Brigade GM , was part of FML Hiller's First Column and comprised two battalions. With 973 effectives ( Gill) this would be messy for my purposes, so I have modelled them as one unit.

These are mainly Piano figures supplied, very kindly, by Klauss Hinderks and my good friend Thomas Mischak.

I have supplemented them with some equally lovely Franznap figures from Francesco. They too are a delight.

The camera has highlighted a few errors but overall I am very pleased with them as is Oberst Freiherr Von Wewelt commanding.

Lots to do.

Apologies, but the bug is in action I think.

The post would not post, and then it posts twice and Mr Fly by wire appeared as if by magic!

Best wishes,

Chris

So what scale are these exactly? The cross-posting makes this very confusing. And what rules will they be used for?

CHRIS DODSON02 Apr 2025 11:36 p.m. PST

Thank you for the kind comments.

The scale is 20mm and full details of the project to date are on the Aspern link in the discussions section.

The rules are my own, based on the concepts of Charles grant which were successfully used for my Ligny and Quatre bras re fights.

Best wishes ,

Chris

Hi

Lovely figures them Piano Wargames, I have some Hungarian 1/72nd infantry from them and wonderful figures. Do you have a link to your blog ? Not sure what the 'Aspern link in the discussions section' was referring to?

cheers

Hi,

Thank you for your interest. I have noticed that old reactivated threads generally get ignored, hence the gallery entry for new posts along side updating the original thread.

TMP link

Refers.

Best wishes,

Chris
