I just released my ticket for an event, as I'm the only one signed up less than a week before it was to start, and don't want to get up early on Saturday for nothing. So I wanted to message the host "sq_rigger" to inform him/her, but the web page won't let me ("insufficient privileges"). I was logged in, BTW, in case it isn't obvious from the context. Suggestions? The Saturday 9am "Et Sans Resultat" game (Napoleonics), hosted by said "sq_rigger". Is there any way I can message this individual? MH |

You will be able to cancel your slot, on Thursday when Tabletop opens back up. |

@kcabai: Not sure what you mean by "cancel your slot", but if you look at the Saturday ESR game on your website, at the link given in the OP for this thread, you will observe that I have already cancelled my registration for the event (that's what I meant by "released my ticket", using IIRC the terminology from your website). The problem, as stated above, is that I couldn't message the host to give him a heads-up (…), again as described above. Given that this is apparently not your area of expertise, can you suggest someone who can help with this? Thanks in advance; MH |

I am so sorry, I had assumed you had an idea on how TTE works. My mistake. Once you have released your ticket, the host gets a real time change in his event status. So he knows that you backed out of his game. It is beyond our reasonable ability to personally inform each GM, of every change in their status. Hope this answers your concerns. |
