Throw a rock in that part of Israel, and it will land on a battlefield, and possibly more than one. But it's always nice when we can date a particular one. Thanks, 35th. |

Welcome I have a couple of coins from that area, dating back as far as Israel a kingdom. It is interesting thinking of all they have been through. Similar to the novel "The Source". |

So we have evidence of a settlement or camp that might be military. No evidence of arrow heads or other weapons, or graves with people dead from blunt force trauma and the like. I'd say someone is inferring what they want to infer. |

In "The Battles of Armageddon" by Eric Cline, the author devotes ten pages to whether this particular battle at Megiddo actually occurred at all as the academic biblical community is divided into several camps on this issue. Still, an interesting find. |
